94th State Representative candidate Bob Blaine was endorsed by the Saginaw County Democratic Party on April 10th at the monthly membership meeting. His official party endorsement followed earlier recommendation by the Endorsement Committee and a vote by the Executive Committee.

Blaine was joined by several incumbent County Commissioners in receiving party support. Mike O'Hare (1st district), Robert "Moe" Woods (7th), Carl Ruth (8th), Bregitte Braddock (10th), James Graham (11th), and Tim Novak (15th) were unanimously supported in their reelection efforts. Ruth Averill (13th) was endorsed in a rematch against incumbent Republican Ann Doyle.
