You will often hear Tim say, “Saginaw Township is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.” Saginaw Township government is anchored by the core values of its citizens. These core values are as follows:
-Provide for a safe community
-Promote a neat, clean, attractive community with beautiful neighborhoods
-Provide quality of life amenities
-Maintain a professional, well-run, efficient government . . . that provides high quality services to its residents.
Tim and the Township Board are striving to keep Saginaw Township the special community it is.
Four additional officers were hired this past year, putting more patrol officers on the road to keep Saginaw Township a safe place for children to grow up.
Saginaw Township families are reinvesting in their homes and neighborhoods securing a bright future for family life in the coming years.
Saginaw Township families value being active, so the first mile of pedestrian pathway was built, an addition to the 60 miles of sidewalk citizens already enjoy.
Quality of life improvements are being made throughout the community that will help Township families enjoy an exceptional quality of life for many years to come.
Building a stronger and more diverse economy is also one of the keys to securing a bright future for all of us. Tim is leading the Township Board in creating opportunities for business expansion and economic development, and there are a number of initiatives being undertaken to keep Saginaw Township moving forward.
“Recreate State” is an initiative to revitalize the State Street business district.
Tim Braun and his staff are also working to develop the Campus Business District on Tittabawassee Road between Mackinaw and Lawndale roads. This will open up the area for the location of high tech manufacturing companies and the good paying jobs so desperately needed in Saginaw County.
Tim Braun's forward thinking and optimistic leadership is making a difference!
