I would like to voice support for the re-election of Sheriff Charles Brown and Prosecutor Michael Thomas.

Unlike their opposition in the Democratic primary, each brings a wealth of proven leadership and experience to his position.

Both are men of integrity, commitment and diligent labor for the betterment of Saginaw County and for the safety of its streets, schools, businesses, and citizens. Both recognize and act on the necessity of working cooperatively for public safety not only within the various Saginaw County agencies and departments but also between Saginaw County, the city of Saginaw and surrounding counties and municipalities.

They consistently display commitment to both Saginaw County and public safety through their widespread involvement in and service to community organizations as well through as their contributions to and leadership in their professional organizations, from which each has received awards.

Both Thomas and Brown have excellent records of service. Thus, the Saginaw Area Democratic Club Executive Board has endorsed them. I urge voters to cast their votes for them Tuesday.
